The UK’s 5.5 million SMEs are the backbone of our economy – driving innovation, creating jobs and supporting local communities. To aid their growth, Government’s Department for Business and Trade (DBT) has launched its new Business Growth Service, which streamlines and strengthens the support offer by linking national programmes with local delivery in one central place.
The launch follows the publication of Government’s Small Business Strategy, ‘Backing your business’, which complements its Industrial Strategy and Sector Action Plans in aiding long-term business growth and investment.
The Growth Hub network forms a key component of the new national offer, enabling Hertfordshire Growth Hub, as the primary port of call for Hertfordshire businesses, to offer even more resources, expert guidance and growth opportunities.
