Hertfordshire Futures is sponsoring the Pharmaceutical Industry Networking Group (PING) Conference for the 11th year running in 2025.
This year’s event on Monday, May 12 at the Old Palace, Hatfield House, will focus on the growing sustainability pressures and opportunities facing the pharma industry. Headline speakers include Hertfordshire Futures Board Member, Stephen Ward, who is also the Cell and Gene Therapy Catapult’s Chief Technology Officer. He will be attending PING alongside Hertfordshire Futures Chair, Adrian Hawkins OBE, and Andrew Lewin MP for Welwyn Hatfield who be making a short address.

In Hertfordshire there are around 150 life sciences business, according to the Office for Life Sciences, clustered primarily in the A1 corridor comprising Welwyn Hatfield, Stevenage and North Hertfordshire with around 38,800 science, research, engineering, and technology professionals working in the county – 50% above the national average.
