Small Cells

Small cells are low-powered mobile network units that improve 4G and 5G coverage and capacity in urban areas.

What are Small Cells ?

Small Cells serve a much smaller area than a traditional mobile phone mast, helping to deliver faster, more reliable connectivity where it is needed most.

You can think of small cells as mini mobile phone masts. Rather than relying solely on large towers, suppliers can install small cells on existing lampposts and street furniture.

By bringing mobile infrastructure closer to users, small cells help strengthen network performance, support growing demand for mobile data, and enable the expansion of next-generation digital services.
